TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATED AT JSHS (05.09.2022)

“The influence of teachers extends beyond the classroom, well into the future.”

Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great fervour and exuberance at Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana. A Special assembly was organised in the morning wherein a cultural programme was presented by students for their mentors which included a street play by Grade III highlighting the idea that students cannot thank their teachers enough in their lives for grooming them. Speech was delivered describing the life of Dr. Radha Krishnan. The role play by grade XI-XII drew the attention of the audience. They exhibited the struggle period teachers underwent during COVID times taking online classes followed by Vandana dance to pay tribute to teachers. The programme was organised and conducted exclusively by students. In her address, Principal Kirti Sharma appreciated the students for a well organised assembly.

Teachers enjoyed their day to the fullest by tapping their feet and relished the sumptuous meal at a restaurant organised by the school Management. Teachers felt special on teachers’ day. The program ended with the golden words of the Director of the School, Pawandeep Singh who lauded the relentless efforts put in by the teachers. He opined that without teachers, the world would be too poor.
