STUDENTS AMPLIFIED THEIR VOICE IN LSSC RADIO JOCKEY COMPETITION (22.08.2023)

Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana hosted LSSC INTER-SCHOOL RADIO JOCKEY COMPETITION wherein students of Grade IX-XII were given an opportunity to embark on a transformative journey of self-expression and honing their oratory finesse. This prestigious event not only cultivated their communication prowess but also instilled an unwavering sense of poise.

As many as 60 students from various CBSE schools participated in the competition. Amandeep Kaur Sidhu, lecturer in Khalsa College for women Sidhwan khurd, Shivani Parashar Assistant Professor at Regional Institute of Education, NCERT, were the judges.

The students presented the show on the themes like The Academic Airwaves, Culture Clash Chronicles, Visions for a better future, social issues, sustainability and innovative ideas that shape our world. Also the content of the show highlighted art of Storytelling, dramatic readings, Interviews with artists, movie, music reviews and discussions on the latest trends in pop culture. They presented witty radio jockey acts filled with fun, humour and songs. The students left the judges awe-struck as they presented their talent so immaculately and effortlessly. They were applauded for their superb performances. The Director, Mr. Pawandeep Singh and Principal Ms. Kirti Sharma appreciated the commendable efforts put in by the mentors and students.  Sacred Heart Convent School won the first prize. Spring Dale Public School won the second prize while GGN Public School bagged the third prize. Consolation prize was bagged by BVM Sr Sec. School Udham Singh Nagar. All the winners and participants were awarded certificates. The event was a learning experience for one and all.
