MELANGE – AN INTER PLAY WAY SCHOOL COMPETITION CELEBRATED AT JESUS’ SACRED HEART SCHOOL
Jesus’ Sacred Heart School celebrated Melange-an exquisite Inter – Play way School competition on 23rdOctober 2016 for the 9TH consecutive year. It was a visual delight watching the little gems putting up a colourful show within the campus. 2500 students from around 30 play ways of Ludhiana participated in various competitions, enjoying the ecstasy of stepping out of their little world to compete in the big world. The chief guest of the day was Chairperson Ms. Amarjeet Kaur Sehgal. The whole event was covered under two categories of 2-3 years and 3-4 years yet these lil wonders outdid themselves in all the activities of the day. An air of anticipation and excitement could be sensed all around.
A warm and hearty welcome was given through a Vandana by the talented students of the host school. The tiny tots displayed their strength and stamina in the play field in events like Frog Jump Race, Banana Race, Flat Race etc. The budding stars along with their mommies set the ramp on fire with their charisma and classy looks in fashion show `Me and My Mom`. Audience was awestruck to see confident moms on stage. An amazing display of talent, verve and ecstasy in the indoor events could be seen in I Spy, Fruit Salad Sculpture, Who`s Who, Bean Mosaic, Button Art, Magic Fingers etc. The stupendous performance was given by little champs which mesmerized the audience. Their talent was evident in their confident personification of Yoga Gurus in Prince and Princess Yoga. In the potpourri of stories under the title ‘Kahani Ki Potli’ the little ones in their colourful costumes swayed in creating their own utopia, radiated an atmosphere of joy in abundance. A perfect finale to this festival was Healthy Baby Show. The show was indeed with a difference. The ‘I Spy’ was a huge hit as the lil charming Princes and Princesses wooed everyone with their wit and presence of mind. The buoyant smiles, gleaming eyes, rhythmic beats clearly demonstrated their high spirits. Even the accompanying parents enthused the children with energy and boosted their morale with their cheer and shout.
The overall trophy was conferred upon Bachpan Playway School, first runner up was Babies Paradise Playway school and the second runner up was Cherubs Playway school. The show was a big success and the whole environment elated with the radiant smiles of the winners.
