Labour’s Day celebrated at JSHS (01.05.2018)

‘It’s labour indeed that puts the difference to everything.’

To celebrate the painstaking effort of the labour force, that work tirelessly, we at Jesus` Sacred Heart School celebrated Labour Day on 1st May 2018 with gusto. We have always believed that it is small acts of kindness that count and we attempt to inculcate that same virtue in our children.

Special Assembly was conducted by students of grade 10A, 6C and 3C which was special in many ways, as our young scholars sent forth a reverberating message that their hard work and dedication have helped to build the nation. The students performed street play highlighting the importance of these people in one`s life. Also, students expatiated their views on historical events that contributed to the emergence of labour rights and their significance of the day in the present time.

Friendly cricket match was also organized between drivers and conductors. Fun based games for female staff were also played and their happy faces could be seen beaming with smile.

Director of the school, Mr. Pawandeep Singh along with Principal, Ms. Kirti Sharma handed over the gifts of gratitude them and thanked them for their endless services. The function culminated with sumptuous lunch organized for support staff to make them feel special and honoured.
