“Every successful presentation is built on four pillars- people, ideas, passion and preparation.”

The empowered Grade IX- X students of Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana put forth their viewpoints in the ‘symposium’ designed as a class presentation and expressed their concerns over the various issues. The students expressed their depth of knowledge on topics like – Start-ups in India- boosting entrepreneurship, Nuclear disarmament — mandatory to achieve world peace, Blind faith in religion – impediment in the progress of India and global refugee crisis. Each class was divided into small groups for symposium and the students were asked to discuss a pre-assigned topics.

Group discussion proved useful as it enabled students to enhance their thinking ability, expressions, frankness, and non-hesitation. It was also beneficial for students’ social skills, educational development and learning too. Parents, faculty members and students were also present on the occasion. Members of the management and Principal Kirti Sharma encouraged the students to participate in such kind of events that would help them grow their personalities. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by class in charges. It was a day with new learnings.
