Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana believes in taking many initiatives to provide interactive, participatory, hands-on, innovative and creative learning experiences to students. One such initiative refers to the organization of Science Exhibition as a part of class presentation on the theme Smart City by students of Grade VIII. The program started with welcome note. The management members, Principal and parents were present at the exhibition. There was 100% participation of students of grade VIII in the event. The students showcased static and working models which were developed by the students themselves and mentored by class VIII class incharges.

Students presented models which were related to the smart City projects like rain water harvesting, airport robots, water purifiers, solar panels, hydraulic lifts etc. Parents were amazed to see the presenting skills and intricacies of the working models related to Smart City. All the parents at the exhibition thoroughly enjoyed the event. In her speech, the Principal threw light on how technology has made things more efficient and also told them that to grab unlimited opportunities that comes their way in the field of science. The parents appreciated students for putting heart and soul into making working models. The objective of the exhibition was to ignite the essence of science by involving the students in showcasing their speaking skills, creativity and innovation. Several Positive feedbacks were received from the visitors. The event was a great success.
