‘Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education.’

Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana believes in making and creating responsible citizens. To inculcate a sense of responsibility towards the country, the students of Grade VI organised a role play on Elections. The enactment was designed to hone the communication skills, leadership skills and to enhance the confidence of students. The program started with welcome note. The management members, Principal and parents were present to encourage the students. There was 100% participation of students of grade VI in the event. Participants showcased their inherent talent and learned about their role as a citizen of the nation.

The enactment definitely helped the students to believe in the democratic principles on which our country’ foundation is based.   It enabled them to develop strong character. The students presented the process of elections, campaigning, role of Election Commission and the voting process as well which left the audience spellbound. It was a reflection of true citizenship and commitment of oneself towards the development and progress of the country. The street play on ‘Awareness of voting’ was an icing on the cake. The enthusiasm of students was at peak.

All the parents applauded and enjoyed the event.
