JSHS HOSTED WEBINAR ON “CYBER SECURITY” UNDER HUB OF LEARNING

 Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1 South City Ludhiana organised webinar on “Cyber Security” under the hub of learning  for the students of Grade IX-XII on virtual platform. Students from  Ryan International School, Dugri , Pratap Public School, GRD Academy, GNIPS Model Town and Jesus Sacred Heart School participated in the webinar which was conducted by Mr Maneesh Sharma, a renowned parenting coach & CEO ‘Deep Parenting’.  He provided detailing about its type, laws and punishment related to it. Digital devices are easy to access and store a lot of data in a small space, which make them vulnerable to criminals. Cyber criminals may include children, adolescents, professional hackers, resentful employees, etc.

Digital devices are a handy tool no doubt but unfortunately it has proven to be a handy tool for criminals as well. Mr. Maneesh Sharma further explained about the careful use of credit/debit card. Students were made aware about the type of Cyber crimes which occur on social networking sites. The Do’s and Don’ts for Cyber security were also explained. Online games and their disadvantages for children were also detailed. The Principal of the School, Kirti Sharma thanked the resource person for sparing out time from his busy schedule and conducting a workshop on the important issue of Cyber security.
