Jesus’ Sacred Heartians got selected to play at state level (20.9.2018)

The sportsmen of Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana brought laurels to the school in various sports held at various Zonal and district level conducted by PSEB.

In handball U-17 (girls), U-14 (girls) and U-14 (boys) bagged winner title at Zonal Level. Arjot, Sanya, Sukhmeet, Samridhi, Harleen, Arshpreet, Karanjot and Karanpreet were selected to play in district level team and further after winning Samridhi Rana, Sanya Nagpal and Karan have been selected to play in State level teams.

In basketball (u-14) girls clinched to the title of 1st runner up at Zonal level. Sukmeet Kaur, Arjot Kaur and Kajal Gupta were selected to play at district level, bagged the title of second runnerup.

In skating competition at district level, students (U-17) bagged 2 bronze medal and in category U-11, students bagged 1 gold and 3 silver, 1 bronze medal. Kumud Jain has been selected for state level.

In PSEB district level swimming competition, students bagged 2 gold, 5 bronze and 1 silver medal. Deepkawal Kaur and Gurnoor Kaur Gill have been selected for State Level Competition.

Director of the school, Pawandeep Singh and Principal Kirti Sharma congratulated the winners for their splendid achievement and wished them good luck for the upcoming state-level competition. Team coaches were also appreciated under whom the team played brilliantly and became the district champion.
