INVESTITURE CEREMONY HELD AT JSHS (06.05.2022)

“Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life”. To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1 South City, Ludhiana formed the Student Council for the Primary, junior & senior section for session 2022-23 after scrutinous interviewing and selection.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2022-23 was held. It was conducted with high degree of earnestness and passion. The investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly elected office bearers.

The ceremony began with the recitation of school song which perfectly suited the event.

The march by all the prefects was a spectacular event which set the mood for the event.

The newly appointed school student Council board which included the Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain, Discipline Incharges, Cleanliness Incharges, House Captains, Vice Captains and Prefects were felicitated with badges and sashes. In her address, Principal Kirti Sharma congratulated the newly appointed school student Council board for their preparedness to take responsibilities. She asked them to use these opportunities and balance them well with academics to excel in both. She commended the school for providing an equal opportunity to all the students in administration and decision making.

The Oath taking ceremony was led by the Head Boy and the Head Girl. Donning the mantle of accountability and responsibility, they also pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. They were conferred with badges and sashes by honourable Director of the school, Pawandeep Singh and Principal Kirti Sharma.

The Director, in his address, congratulated them and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. His words of advice were highly motivating to the students. The ceremony concluded with National Anthem.
