The campus of Jesus’ Sacred Heart School was beaming with positive vibes on the concluding day of G.S Memorial-2018 which had a colorful start with 3500 students from 40 schools with dazzling display of array of events in sports, cultural and academic events. The outdoor activities comprised of swimming wherein JSHS and DAV BRS  Nagar secured maximum medals. In skating , BCM Arya Model School, JSHS and Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town won maximum medals. In cricket league for grade I-V BCM 32 Sector clinched the gold medal and Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar secured gold in Cricket league for grade VI-VII. In Football girls JSHS bagged gold medal and Sacred Heart Convent School, BRS Nagar secured gold in Football boys. Basket ball girls of BCM Arya Model School won gold in the tournament.

The indoor events like IT Wizard, Techno Art were designed to judge the techno savvy skills in students. The highlight of the show was a stage event, Fashion Show wherin the students presented the latest fashion trend. Virtuous Hymn, which was a singing competition also saw huge participation as well as witnessed the display of talent.

The most awaited moment was the prize distribution which was done by the chief guest cum Chairperson of school Amarjit Kaur Sehgal along with the members of the management. The heart throbbing moment was the declaration of overall trophy that was conferred upon Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, but as host school JSHS handed over the overall winner trophy to next winning team i.e. B.C.M. Arya Model School, first runner up was B.C.M. School, Sec. 32 and the second runner up was Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town.

The event was declared closedby Honorable Director of the school, Pawandeep Singh who lauded the participants for their never ending enthusiasm.  The show was a huge success and the whole campus was echoing with the applauds and cheerful moments.
