EARTH DAY OBSERVED AT JSHS (21.04.2022)

EARTH DAY OBSERVED AT JSHS

Away, away, from men and towns,

To the wild wood and the downs,

To the silent wilderness,

Where the soul need not repress its music.”

The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it. 22nd April, Earth Day, which was observed at Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX- 1, South City, Ludhiana in the special morning assembly was about appreciating the uniqueness of our planet Earth, while at the same time, educating ourselves about what we have and what we are losing by acting in ways that are environmental friendly. A play ‘Earth story’ was organized that motivated all to keep planet beautiful as ever. Students took a pledge and promised to keep earth safe by leaving an everlasting hand impression. Assembly concluded with a song on earth day.

Principal Kirti Sharma educated students to keep on planting trees to save our earth from getting depleted.
