A two-day CBSE Capacity Building programme under the guidance of Center of Excellence (CoE) in adolescence education was organised for the teachers at Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana. Principal Kirti Sharma extended floral welcome to the august speakers on behalf of the school management.

The Resource person, Ms. Sonia Verma acquainted all with the sensitive aspects of a teenager’s life by highlighting the emotional aspects, problem with parents, psychological problems and many more issues.

The another Resource person Sangeeta  Bhatia ,a Certified Parent Coach, Student Counsellor and CBSE Resource Person gave her positive inputs in dealing with problems with adolescents.

The workshop was attended by 60 teachers from different CBSE schools.

Presentations on mood swings of adolescents, problem of drug addiction were also taken into consideration by the resource persons. They discussed all related points in depth about the Adolescent Education- its need and challenges in present scenario. According to them, schools are the ideal setting to empower the students beyond academics with correct knowledge and prepare them to face any challenges with a high spirit.

The workshop was a great success.
