Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana celebrated its Annual Day (Junior) which was designed on the motif `Angel &Demons- truth behind myth’ – amidst great grandeur, levity and passion. The students of Grade Pre- Nursery to Grade III presented a glittering show. Honourable Chairperson Amarjit Kaur was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The programme commenced with lighting of the Ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest cum Chairperson Amarjit Kaur, Directors of the school, Pawandeep Singh and Ramandeep Singh, accompanied by the principal and other eminent dignitaries. The Principal, Kirti Sharma welcomed the guests and the gathering and shared the school’s achievements in academics and co-curricular domains through the Annual Report of the past session. The school also honoured the deserving students with awards and appreciations in the field of academics, co-curricular and sports.
Dance was performed to seek the blessings of Durga followed by cultural program showcasing the positive and dark side of life and imparting the awareness to choose the right path. The array of events highlighted both the aspects – good & aweful. The dance and drama in the event ‘Kaleidoscope of life’ picturises the blended and stranded relationships. The grey side of life in the form of pollution is highlighted through dance performance by Nursery B&E. Revelling Extravaganza in the form of umbrella dance, mime and enactment permeated the ambience with colour and exuberance in their foot tapping moves. The finale `Angelic serenity` portrayed the idea that true celebration of life is manifested in spreading honesty and positivity. A folk dance `bhangra’ caught the light and the audience were glued to their seats. The students of the school had put up an exhibition on start up programs which was greatly appreciated by the parents.
Director of the school, Pawandeep Singh, in his address, was of the opinion that the credit for taking school to such heights of success goes to the relentless and dedicated efforts of teachers and parents. He further added that the school excels in all fields of learning and congratulated the school for creating a secure position in the city. The program culminated with the National Anthem.
