ANNUAL DAY- EHSAAS CELEBRATED AT JSHS(19.11.2022)

Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana celebrated its  Annual Day(senior) which was designed on the motif `Ehsaas-The untold stories` amidst great splendour, mirth and zest. The students of grade IV to Grade XII presented a scintillating show. Honourable Chairperson Amarjit Kaur was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The programme commenced with lighting of the Ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest cum Chairperson Amarjit Kaur, Directors of the school, Pawandeep Singh and Ramandeep Singh, accompanied by the principal and other eminent management members.  The Principal, Kirti Sharma welcomed the guests and the gathering and shared the school’s achievements in academics and cocurricular domains through the Annual Report of the past session.  The school also honoured the deserving students with awards and appreciations in the field of academics, co-curricular and sports. Vandana Dance was performed to seek the blessings of almighty followed by cultural program showcasing the emotions of people from various strata of society. The array of events highlighted both the facets of emotions- blessed and tarnished. The dance and drama n the event `blended bond` picturises the stranded relationships.  Nature`s warmth eulogized Nature and celebrated its beauty and benefits but also imparting the awareness to take care from getting it deteriorated. Revelling Extravaganza in the form of chair dance, mime to name a few, filled the aura with hues and vibrancy in its energetic and foot tapping moves. Street play ‘projecting aspects of Covid and its negative impact   in the life of common people. The finale `love life and live life` portrayed the idea that true celebration of life is manifested in spreading happiness and positivity.  A glittering bonanza of folk dance `bhangra` was enticing and spellbound the whole audience. The students of the school had put up an exhibition on start up programs which was greatly appreciated by the parents. The gathering witnessed another sound of high voltage track and dare devil performances like aerial acts, crossing the tunnels and jumping across the fire rings.

Director of the school, Pawandeep Singh claimed that JSHS stands firm and indomitable from last so many years in imparting great education and has already taken a lead in grooming students in sports, extracurricular and co-curricular activities. He appreciated the school for facilitating and achieving excellence in providing exposure of the world to students. He opined that the credit for taking school to such heights of success goes to the relentless and dedicated efforts of its teachers and parents. He further added that school excels in all fields of learning and congratulated the school for the carving a niche in the city. The programme culminated with the National Anthem.
