12th G.S.MEMORIAL CONCLUDED WITH FANFARE AT JSHS(21.10.2023)

Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX1,South City, Ludhiana  proudly announced the successful conclusion of  12TH  G.S Memorial Event 2023, which is a remarkable amalgamation of athleticism, team spirit, and entertainment. The two day event had a colourful start with 6000 students from around 50 schools participated in cultural extravaganza showcasing intense competition, dedication and prowess of participating teams in both co-curricular and sports.  The cricket matches were a testament to the unwavering spirit of sportsmanship and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

In addition to the sporting action, the event offered a diverse range of stage performances and indoor events that catered to every taste. From breath-taking dance performances to soul-stirring musical acts, our stage events were a true celebration of talent and creativity. The audience was treated to an array of captivating performances that left a lasting impression on all in attendance.

Jesus’ Sacred Heart School (Grade I-VI) and BCM Shastri Nagar (Grade VII-X) were the winners for cricket in the respective categories. In Football boys, (Grade VII-X) Sacred Heart Convent, BRS Nagar emerged as winners and Nankana Sahib, Kila Raipur  were the winners in Football Girls (grade VII-X).. In basketball boys VII-X category DAV, BRS Nagar emerged as winners and category in basketball Girls (VII-X) BCM Shastri Nagar emerged as winners.

The highlight of the concluding day was the Prize Distribution Ceremony which was done by the chief guest cum Chairperson of school Amarjit Kaur along with the members of the management. Students were acknowledged and rewarded for their outstanding performances. The overall trophy in co-curricular events was conferred upon Jesus’ sacred Heart School and BCM, Shastri Nagar and first runner up was GNIPS, model Town and BCM Chandigarh road.   In sports events which included cricket, basketball, football, skating, swimming and athletics- Jesus’ Sacred Heart School bagged winner trophy. The event was declared close by Honourable Director of the school, Pawandeep Singh who lauded the efforts put in by mentors and students to bring forth best out of students.  This event was a tribute to the dedication, hard work, and passion exhibited by these remarkable individual. Director of the school extended heartfelt appreciation to all the participants, coaches and mentors who contributed to the success of this event. Their enthusiasm and commitment were instrumental in making the Event a grand success.
