JUNIOR SPORTS FIESTA HELD AT JSHS (10.02.18)

‘Effort is the best indicator of interest.’
The much awaited Annual Sports Day (junior) was celebrated in Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana on February 10, 2018 with great zeal and fervour. The Grand opening of the meet was graced by Chief Guest cum Chair Person, Ms. Amarjit Kaur Sehgal, Directors of the school, Mr. Pawandeep Singh and Mr. Ramandeep Singh along with members of the Management. Parents also added charm to the occasion with their auspicious presence. They were accorded a genial and everential welcome by Principal Ms. Kirti Sharma. The oath taking ceremony came in the wake of the ceremonial relay of the athletic meet torch, by the best athletes of the school. The meet was declared open by Director of the school, Mr. Pawandeep Singh. The chief guest unfurled the school flag and took salute from the marching contingents of junior council members and sports person of JSHS. It was a treat to behold the contingents marching with royal and synchronized strides. The event started by seeking the blessings of God through ‘Ganesh Vandana’ dance. The first presentation was by tiny tots who enthralled the audience with a drill showcasing formations through physical exercise. The gathering witnessed another sound of high voltage track events comprising of back race, tube race, flat race, cone race etc. The balloon race and elephant race filled the air with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Couple races and races for mothers and fathers added to the enjoyment. Grand finale displaying colourful dance was an epitome of perfect equilibrium performed amidst thunderous applause. The Director of the school, in his address lauded the event and appreciated the efforts and congratulated everyone for another successful event of the session. Ceremony concluded with the National Anthem. It was a day fully enjoyed by one and all.
