Jesus’ Sacred Heart School never leave any stone unturned to prove their mettle in every field. Class presentation on Reciprocal teaching was held in school on 28 January, 2017 during school hours. It was indeed, incredible to see grade III students giving their best in class presentation, showcasing their caliber in the reciprocal teaching using various modern techniques. Students were given topic and they prepared their lessons themselves from their prescribed curriculum under the able guidance of the teachers. Students used various audio-video aids, inquiry based approach, interactive lessons to make teaching interesting, expressive and clear. In this instructional activity, students became teachers and taught the class using various strategies including picture-walk, predictions, summarizing, and question generating and clarifying. These strategies encouraged the students to think about their own thought processes during interactive teaching sessions. Parents could not believe their eyes seeing their wards getting polished in their cognitive and verbal skills. They could not resist themselves praising for the efforts initiated by school in involving every child actively participating in the class presentation which will enhance in shaping the personality of an individual as an empowered leader of tomorrow.
