On 23rd December 2017, all the parents, guardians, friends, students and well wishers of Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana gathered at the school premises to be happy, to enjoy and to celebrate Christmas Carnival. The morning was cold but it went unnoticed amidst the festivities. School welcomed everyone to this joyful celebration of colour, lights, music and dance. There were number of games like Sprat the rat, Playing with marble, Casa La Glass, Fastest Fisher and JSHS Food Express retailing gourmet delights. School firmly believes that parents and guardians are an integral part of the school family and with this in mind a number of events like Tatooism, Rifle ring, Golmaal – The maze, Luck in treasure and DJ Tambola Rox was organized for parents as well.
Christmas Celebrations in JSHS is an event that students, parents and teachers look forward to and enjoy Carnivals, Fetes, music and dance performances, festive decorations – all bring Christmas cheers. Students decorated the Christmas tree and sang Christmas carols in true spirit of Christmas. Food stalls, Christmas goodies, recreation corner like nail art, shooting, maze, poker tree and fun games like treasure hunt, sprat the rat Frisbee were organized on this occasion. Santa Claus distributing candies and cookies was the main attraction of the carnival. Christmas celebrations involved students singing Christmas songs like ‘Christmas is coming’, ‘Dashing through the snow’ and ‘Santa Claus is coming’. Santa distributed his goodies to all the children. A tableaux depicting the birth of Jesus Christ was also presented.
