The alfresco of Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana turned aesthetic with the celebration of annual function of Junior school on 19th November 2017 on the theme ‘Magical World’ in the school campus.
The evening was reserved for a gala celebration which was graced by chief guest-Chairperson of the school, Ms. Amarjit kaur Sehgal along with Directors of the school, Mr. Pawandeep Singh and Mr. Ramandeep Singh, members of the management and dignitaries from all walks of life. The Annual Day celebration was bound to be a befitting occasion for the Spontaneous outburst of the high spiritedness in a wide range of creativity. The celebration started with the Warm welcome of the guests. followed by the traditional ceremony of lighting the lamp .

The daylight lingered on into the fragrance of twilight with the invocation of blessings of lord Krishna through Raas Leela followed by the welcome song exhibiting the elation of the students. Ms. Kirti Sharma -the Principal of the school presented the Annual Report, focusing on the school’s achievements. Prize giving ceremony happens to be the most awaited event of the Annual Day.

The performance left the audience gaping at the incredible display of talent and depicted their belief that magic is to believe in yourself. Performances of students in choreography and presentation including ‘fairy world’, ‘Sofie the princess’ was highly appreciated by the audience.
Their synchronised dance movements to the foot tapping music in shadow dance enthralled the audience. The spectators thoroughly enjoyed the mime dance presenting the bounties of nature. The entire gathering also witnessed a fashion show in the getup of Disney characters enthusing every Heart and soul. A smile dance performance added charm to that spectacular evening. Fusion of semi classical with bhangra in ‘Bhangra twist’ marked the grand finale which was packed with energy and zeal. The National Anthem left behind the promise of a handful of brighter hues the next year.
